One of my biggest fears is being late to a session and causing more stress to a new momma... welp. This time, I showed up a whole hour early..
Baby boy ate, pooped, and made a million faces while we spent the afternoon together. No better way to spend my time.

There isnt much that brings me so much joy as working with my previous students!
If you didn't know, I tought Jr High and High School Art at Alton for 6 years. I left when we had our second daughter and took the leap to take Photography FULL TIME!
I've had the privilege of working with a handful of my students since I started staying home and it has been my new favorite part of my job!

I've had the privilege of capturing Hunter and Lynsie's Wedding day, pregnancy announcement, maternity session, and now their extended family portraits.
Note: We scheduled our session for right after their family thanksgiving dinner.... so they fed me.

Jayden's Momma AND Sister joined us for her senior portraits.
When family and friends join us for portraits our whole session is more relaxed and the smiles are more geniune.

Miss Robyn was in my art class my FIRST year teaching and, trips with her and her sister will always be a fond memory. She has so many amazing people in her corner, and it makes sense, because she is just as amazing.
Also, the best way to get her to laugh is to talk liek a sailor... so it was possibly the best session ever. lol

There is nothing as sweet as meeting a couple that you click so well with. Our session lasted till the last moments of light... and then we proceeded to have the "mid-western goodbye" where we stood and talked for 40 more minutes. lol
Worth every minute.
